What was your initial hesitation about attending the Mindshare Summit?

I put off attending for years because I just didn't know and my friends were like 'you gotta go to this place,' 'you gotta go to the place' and I finally listened.

What was your immediate reaction upon joining the Mindshare community?

The moment I walked into Mindshare my life was changed. I worked for 17 years for a hospital and was in that day to day drudgery and it was like, all of a sudden this bright shining light—which was Mindshare—came into my life and it has completely turned my life, my hope, my business, completely around.

How has your business changed since joining Mindshare?

My business has grown in leaps and bounds. I went from working for a hospital to actually being my own boss and being able to take the knowledge that I have accumulated and really build a practice that is satisfying to myself and really helpful to my clients.

How has this transition affected your daily work and patient care?

It's kind of like you got out of that box of that day to day like see more patients, spend less time with the hospitals push. I was able to reclaim that power and do things my way which actually makes a difference in my life, my family's life, and even in the life of my patients.

What is the culture like within the Mindshare community?

Being a member of the Mindshare community has been just absolutely amazing. First of all is having that support of like-minded people and finding your tribe has been really important. It's just kind of like this area of belonging. Everybody's in this together, there's no competition, everyone's really here to help each other.
