What has your experience been like attending the Institute of Restorative Health?
Attending the Institute of Restorative Health has been eye-opening. The thing that I thought I was getting was that I was just going to get a certificate that said that I could do X, Y and Z. But really what I got was the keys to the kingdom to real solutions, and a wider view of what is really happening with people.
What is the primary benefit you have gained from the program?
The #1 benefit of attending the Institute of Restorative Health is that it allows me to look at data that I am familiar with as a nurse, and apply it to natural solutions. What I was not expecting was to be educated on things that I thought I already knew.
How has this training changed how you interact with your clients?
I'm able to explain clearly with more time, and care, and attention than a doctor might have in a clinic setting. And so, educating my clients in a way that makes sense to them, only enables them to be empowered with choices and options.
How have specific clinical skills like blood chemistry impacted your practice?
The skills that I have gained with blood chemistry in particular, has allowed me to have more confidence in what I can offer. It helps me to know what is actually going on, and it helps me to just really step forward with a lot of confidence and how to really help them in their journey to healing.
How does blood chemistry relate to the other restorative work you do?
Blood chemistry has reinforced the importance of the work that we do within gastrointestinal healing and optimizing hormones. It helps clients realize, 'Oh, this makes sense to why my whole system needs attention and care, not just this one part.'
