The interview
Can you introduce yourself and your business?
My name is Bryce Richardson. I own Vivid Smiles in Parker, Colorado. Vivid Smiles is a high-end aesthetic and family practice located just outside of Denver. We do all kinds of dentistry. It's a growing practice, and we see a ton of patients, you know, all kinds of different walks of life and different treatments.
What led you to seek out Techspedient Networks?
Like most companies as they grow, they end up selling out to corporate or private equity. We encountered that twice with different IT companies. Our last IT company actually ended up taking our whole practice for hostage. The FBI ended up getting involved and everything, and thank goodness for Anthony and Techspedient, 'cause he was able to... You know, we didn't miss a single day. We didn't miss a single patient.
How did Anthony and the team respond during that crisis?
When I called Anthony, he literally was on our computers within an hour, helping us get back up. I would come in the office at, like, 6:00 AM, and he was already working, helping us get back on track. He flew in to see us, helped to make sure everything was secure. He talked with the FBI. He talked with the police and everybody involved, even the perpetrator, kind of negotiated with him, able to get things back on track for us.
How does the ongoing support compare to your previous experiences?
It's a lot more personalized. Anthony's good people. He comes in, we're just laughing, having a good time, and he's very knowledgeable. Just a different level of care and experience that we weren't getting before. Just how willing Anthony is to pick up the phone and help us personally. He's got a team behind him, but if there's something that needs urgency, he's always there when I need him.
What is the impact of their service on your daily operations now?
We don't even worry about our computers or our IT anymore. If something does come up, like something gets logged out or we're installing a new software, he's able to come right in, and he's got somebody on the line. Yesterday, we had a new software installed, and one of his guys was on the phone for, like, two and a half hours straight, making sure it was installed properly. It's not even on my mind anymore, where for a while it was the number one stress in our practice.
Frequently asked
How can I trust a new IT provider after a bad experience with a previous one?
Bryce Richardson admitted to having 'trust issues' after his previous provider was jailed for sabotaging his practice. He found peace of mind with Techspedient because Anthony provided a personalized, transparent experience and demonstrated extreme dedication, such as working at 6:00 AM to get the practice back on track.
