The interview

Why did you decide to join Tax Lien Wealth Builders?

I went to Tax Lien Wealth Builders because I wanted to make money on my money and wanted to kind of have more control. I was just looking for a way to keep me involved in some sort of business. You know, you want to stay as active as possible—not only physically, but mentally, too.

What has your experience been like with the classes and coaching?

I've enjoyed the classes. I've learned an immense amount of information and working with my coach where I feel very productive and I feel that I have an opportunity to build my wealth at a greater capacity than I ever imagined. I had the best coach ever and you can't even quantify how important it is.

What specific benefits have you gained from the program?

The first benefit was meeting the wonderful people that I got to meet; they're highly professional. The second benefit is, to me, as an individual, gaining more knowledge, going into a field that I was totally not prepared to go into until I hooked up with them. It's been immensely rewarding and fulfilling.

How quickly did you see results from your training?

I purchased while I was still in class, and that lien is going up for auction in May 'cause I did the TDA on it. So, it was immediate. And I came home and I started going through it and working with Brennen.

What does your current investment portfolio look like?

Since then I think I have... I don't know, I'm buying three more, but I think currently I have about seven liens and one tax deed. And I'm picking up three more liens that I want to go over with Brennen, and I want to try and pick up at least three a week.

What is your ultimate goal with these investments?

My legacy, I guess I look at that in terms of what I'm going to leave to my sons, has increased. It was basically making money with my money. At my age, we don't have a 401k anymore, so it's just sittin' there in money markets. If I can do this and make 18% on my money, I'm a happy camper.

Frequently asked

Is tax lien investing too much information for a beginner?

Dianne Vreeland describes the learning process as 'drinking from a fire hose' due to the immense amount of information. However, she notes that the professional coaching and seminars provided the knowledge and confidence she needed to succeed despite being previously unprepared for the field.

Can you actually make money on your money with tax liens?

Dianne states that her goal is to achieve an 18% return on her money, which she prefers over leaving funds in money markets. She has already secured multiple liens and a tax deed to build her wealth and legacy.

How helpful is the coaching at Tax Lien Wealth Builders?

Dianne emphasizes that you 'can't even quantify how important' the coaching is, specifically praising her coach, Brennen. She credits the coaching sessions with providing the insight and knowledge necessary to manage her growing portfolio of liens.

Went to Tax Lien Wealth Builders because I wanted to make money on my money and wanted to kind of have more control. So I went to the classes. I've enjoyed the classes. I've learned an immense amount of information and working with my coach where I feel very productive and I feel that I have an opportunity to build my wealth at a greater capacity than I ever imagined. My name is Diane Vreeland. I live in Simpsonville, South Carolina. I'm currently, I guess, retired, but I'm working Tax Lien Wealth Builders, so I'm doing that. But formerly I was in risk management and planning and development. I was just looking for a way to make money on my money and to keep me involved in some sort of business. You know, you want to stay as active as possible - not only physically, but mentally, too. And so, this was a wonderful challenge for me. After going to the seminars and getting to know the people, I gained a very high level of confidence. The first benefit was meeting the wonderful people that I got to meet. They're highly professional. The second benefit is, to me, as an individual, gaining more knowledge, going into a field that I was totally not prepared to go into until I hooked up with them. I had the best coach ever and you can't even quantify how important it is. It's been immensely rewarding, fulfilling. I have gained so much more insight and knowledge from what I experienced with my time with Brennen, and I look forward to more coaching sessions with him. I purchased while I was still in class, and that lien is going up for auction in May 'cause I did the TDA on it. So, it was immediate. And I came home and I started going through it and - and working with Brennan. And since then I think I have... I don't know, I'm buying three more, but I think currently I have about seven liens and one tax deed. And I'm picking up three more liens that I want to go over with Brennen, and I want to try and pick up at least three a week. My legacy... I guess I look at that in terms of what I'm going to leave to my sons, has increased. And that was part of the goal, but not the total goal. It was basically, making money with my money. Again at my age, we don't have a 401k anymore, so it's just sittin' there and in money markets and stuff. If I can do this and make 18% on my money, I'm a happy camper. Which then builds my wealth, which then will ultimately go to our sons. Well, if they're sitting on the fence - first of all, I would be honest. It's like drinking from a fire hose. It's an amazing amount of information. Go in, see if it's for you. See if you have a comfort level for it. And if you do, then I would say go for it!
