The interview

What was your life like before using Sleep Remedy?

Prior to taking Sleep Remedy, I tried everything and nothing was working. I had two big issues. One, I could not fall asleep. I would just lay there, stare at the ceiling. And then the second thing is if I did fall asleep, I would wake up two, three o'clock every time as if I was ready to run a race. It's just like heart beating fast. You just could not get control and stare at the ceiling for another couple hours and then get up and try to go to work.

What external factors were contributing to your sleep struggles?

There was a ton of anxiety associated with sleep and I was kinda at my wit's end. I was trying to work out, I was trying to raise a young family, traveling a lot for work, very stressful, so I know that factored into it. I was on a work trip and there was a lot riding on it, some key presentations, and I remember waking up and maybe only had two hours of sleep and I'm just like, 'This can't continue.'

What other solutions had you tried before finding Doc Parsley?

I was trying every herbal option there was. Everything, whether it's capsules three hours before bed, whether it was taking it multiple times a day just to get you prepared for sleep, and things like sleepy teas. Sometimes those would help me go to sleep, but it did nothing for staying asleep. I also tried strategy—dark light, cold, masks—but as a father of two young children, you rarely get everything aligned perfectly where strategy is the driver.

How did you first hear about the product and what convinced you to try it?

I watched Dr. Parsley on a Barbell Shrugged episode. He started to describe how he got into it and what drove him in terms of working with the SEALs. You listen to him talk and there's so much knowledge and experience and data behind it and obviously passion. I wasn't really excited about taking prescription medication, so I just tried it.

What was your experience with the taste and initial use?

The flavor of it was great. So many of those things have this weird bitter taste, but this was a warm, nice cup of something that tastes good before bed. Immediately I was like, 'I can do this forever.' I knew there was gonna be a time period where I had to adjust, but it provided immediate calming.

How quickly did you notice a change in your sleep patterns?

I'd say a weekend of consistent taking it, I was able to go to sleep and go to sleep pretty quickly. I was naturally falling asleep within a week, and it just kept getting better and better. Once I got a month into it, it was unbelievable. I felt refreshed.

How has the product impacted your daily life and performance?

I found myself way less tired in morning meetings. In the afternoons I could cruise through without additional coffee. I felt better working out, and I also felt better the morning after working out. Even when I don't get enough hours, I still have really good recovery from that, and I think it attributes to Sleep Remedy certainly.

I can't think of a product like this, and I've tried all sorts of supplements and they come and go. Nine years is a long time to have this thing that hasn't changed. I highly recommend it, and I'd say, you know, do it with some intention and make sure that you're giving it a chance. Ronnie McGinnis. I live in San Antonio, Texas. I am a geologist. I work for an oil and gas company here in San Antonio. Prior to that, I was in private research for 15 years, so I've been doing this for over 20 years. Prior to taking Sleep Remedy, I tried everything and nothing was working. I had two big issues. One, I could not fall asleep. I would just lay there, stare at the ceiling. And then the second thing is if I did fall asleep or if I took something that helped me go to sleep, I would wake up two, three o'clock every time as if I was ready to run a race. It's just like heart beating fast. You just could not get control and stare at the ceiling for another couple hours and then get up and try to go to work. It was ver- there was a ton of anxiety associated with sleep and, you know, just was kinda at my wit's end. You know, I was trying to work out, I was trying to raise a young family, traveling a lot for work, very stressful, so I know that factored into it. I watched Dr. Parsley on a Barbell Shrugged episode, and he started to describe kinda how he got into it and, you know, what drove him in terms of working with the SEALs and just tried it. Just trying to take it at the same time, same time before bed, and then it slowly started to happen where I could go to sleep. I'd wake up periodically, but I could go back to sleep. And then once I got a month into it, I mean, it was unbelievable. I was on a work trip and there was a lot riding on it, some key presentations, and I remember waking up and maybe only had two hours of sleep and I'm just like, "This can't continue. I have got to figure something out." And then like, you know, reliance on caffeine to get you through the day and then that all just continues to compound itself and I just couldn't be the best version of myself for my career or my family. That was a breaking point certainly. I wasn't really excited about taking prescription medication for it, so I was trying everything. I hadn't seen a Barbell Shrugged for a while, and then I saw his name and I saw kinda what the title was. I was like, "I'll watch this." You know, you hear about sleep aids and the right strategy for sleeping, put on a mask, dark light, cold, all the stuff. You know, you try everything, it's still not working. It's just, hey, what's at risk here to try this, right? And so that's what I did, and it was just like meant to happen. The things I definitely tried was just strategy. That was the first one as it's the easiest thing to fix. But as a father of two young children and busy schedule, you rarely get everything aligned perfectly where strategy is gonna be the driver. I was trying every herbal option there was. Everything, whether it's capsules three hours before bed, whether it was taking it multiple times a day just to get you prepared for sleep, and things like sleepy teas that are specifically set up to help you go to sleep. Sometimes those would help me go to sleep, but it did nothing for staying asleep. Like literally nothing. My best sleep is when I'm doing all the things I should be doing and I'm using Sleep Remedy the way it's supposed to be done, and I have phenomenal sleep quality now. Like even when I don't get enough hours, I still have really good recovery from that, and I think it attributes to Sleep Remedy certainly. The flavor of it was great, like that so many of those things, they have this weird, you know, bitter or whatever. So I was kinda thinking just from a calming stance, you know, a warm, nice cup of something that tastes good before bed. So immediately I was like, "I can do this forever, you know. Let's see what happens." It became one of those non-negotiables for me, honestly, because I'm a data-driven person. That's what my job is. The anxiety kinda went away. I'd say a weekend of consistent taking it, I was able to go to sleep and go to sleep pretty quickly. I could put my head on the pillow, have the fan blowing on my face, and I was naturally falling asleep within a week, and it just kept getting better and better, and then it was a month into it, I felt refreshed. I found myself way less tired in morning meetings. I found myself in the afternoons being like, "Oh, okay, I can cruise through this without some additional coffee." And you're like, "Man, this actually feels really good." You know? I felt better working out, and then I also felt better the morning after working out. So I felt like that all kind of aligned with improvement. I knew there was gonna be a time period where I had to adjust, and I was willing. Like I said, immediate calming, so to me, I'll take that for six months before I give up on it. You listen to him talk and, you know, there's so much knowledge and experience and data behind it and obviously passion, right? I felt like I didn't have any other outlet than trying some more aggressive techniques and strategies for sleeping better, and I did it and I stuck with it, and I'd say I saw results really quickly. So for me, I would recommend it to anybody, and I would recommend it to people with all sorts of sleep issues, anxiety, anything, because I think it's all part of the same problem. There's a lot of things external, the things that we deal with as humans these days, that you need something to help you stabilize that and reset, and the only time you do that is when you're sleeping. It's just gonna make you feel better. If you give it a month straight of taking it, you're gonna see subtle changes and eventually you're gonna be like, "This is my new norm."
